Brake lights for recuperation?

Yes, the brake lights go on as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator.

In the future, the brake lights will also signal the intensity of the braking process. So e.g. fast flashing when braking strongly, or similar.

 

Also in the small Model 3 graphic in the display, under the speed indicator, the brake lights are indicated.
