Model 3 "Highland": Tesla Confirms the Upgraded Model

With the Highland update, the Model 3 receives a number of interior upgrades. These include, among other things, multi-color ambient lighting that extends from the dashboard to the rear seats, an additional 8-inch screen for rear passengers, and ventilated front seats. These are complemented by a revised sound system with 17 speakers instead of the previous 14, improved noise insulation, and an upgraded center console with real metal handles and a 65 W USB-C charger. According to Tesla, more than half of the revised Model 3 consists of new parts. Overall, according to Tesla's account, the Model 3 Highland is thus more than just a facelift, but rather a comprehensive overhaul that affects numerous areas of the vehicle, from the exterior design and aerodynamics to sound and comfort.
