Reports on Consumption and Efficiency of the Model 3

A report compares the consumption of the Mercedes model, referred to as the "1-liter car of the electric age," with the Tesla Model 3 and concludes that the Mercedes model loses out on this point. According to the report, the Mercedes CLA 250+ EQ consumes 16.9 kWh on the highway, while the Tesla Model 3 Premium RWD uses even less at 15.7 kWh per 100 km. When it comes to charging, however, a different picture emerges: charging from 10 to 80 percent takes 34 minutes for the Tesla, but only 22 minutes for the Mercedes thanks to its newer 800-volt platform. In 20 minutes, the Mercedes adds over 60 km more range than the Tesla. Despite the better charging performance, the Tesla remains significantly cheaper: the price difference is around 11,000 euros, with the Mercedes not yet including any optional equipment.
